Outreach
The Outreach Services provide an alternative for people who cannot visit the library.
- The Library’s Outreach Service delivers books to seniors with no means of access to the library. Plus adults and children who are physically disabled or can’t get to a library for three months or longer due to illness or accident. This service is limited within the city limits of Bristol. Contact the Library at 276-645-8781 to arrange a visit.
- Most libraries have Outreach Services. If you are a Washington County, VA, resident, needing these services, contact the Washington County Public Library at 276-676-6222. Residents of Sullivan County may want to check with the Sullivan County Public Library at 423-279-2714 or the Kingsport Public Library at 423-224-2539.
- State Libraries also provide Outreach! This FREE service is handled through the mail and provides recorded, large print and braille books and magazines, plus many music scores. Over 50,000 titles are available. Special equipment is also available for patrons.
