FOUNDATION

The Bristol Public Library Foundation serves as the 501 (c)(3) recipient of contributions to support the educational and literary activities of the Bristol Public Library’s mission of “Expanding Minds and Building Community”.

Library Projects Supported by the Foundation

Bristol Public Library Road Show

In 2024, the Foundation provided over $50,000 to purchase the Bristol Public Library Road Show vehicle. This Club Car LSV enables the library to bring valuable resources to the Community and underserved areas, while raising awareness of all the library offers.

It’s Bristol BABY! Book

In 2019, the Foundation participated in a joint initiative to publish and provide the new book It’s Bristol BABY! The book, written by Shirley Vernick and illustrated by Paige Garrison, focuses on Bristol’s history, musical heritage, and recreational amenities through a child’s eyes.
